Let me tell you about fear. It’s poison. It’s poison for your mind. It makes you lose control, it makes you freeze, it makes you take the wrong decision. When you let fear take over, you’re just an echo of your former self. An empty shadow and nothing more.
But we’re all afraid, aren’t we? Even the brave are afraid. There’s no such thing as fearless. There’s always something to be afraid of. What will happen, what might happen, what we might lose, what we might never gain.

When was the last time you were introduced to someone, made the typical small talk, and walked away having already forgotten their name? They told you their name, but you were too busy focusing on what to say next to remember what they said. It is too common of an occurrence that first impressions are wasted, with names being forgotten and connections being lost amidst the desire to impress the person you’re meeting. Doesn’t that seem kind of backwards? You spend all of your time and energy during the meeting focusing on how you are going to impress the other person and make the best impression possible, then you end up making no impression at all.
